The Crayford Town Centre regeneration scheme will deliver a new civic centre, community facilities, library, medical centre and restaurant as well as 187 new residential units to the heart of the Crayford community. This landmark development within Crayford will provide a significant element of affordable housing; bring the locally listed Crayford Town Hall back into active use; and deliver a 20% reduction in carbon emissions through the use of on-site renewable energy and sustainable design techniques.
Planning Potential have been involved from the early stages of the project and have guided the proposals through the application process to successfully obtain planning permission. Planning Potential coordinated the team of consultants providing specialist input to the scheme; prepared the planning and sustainability statements; and negotiated the scheme through the application process with planning officers at Bexley Council, the Greater London Authority and the Environment Agency.
