Our work with Youngs covers a wide range of issues as they continually seek to refurbish and re-brand their establishments. We secure planning permission for alterations, listed building consents, and will submit appeals if necessary to secure maximum output on difficult sites.
We have also been involved in redeveloping some of Young’s existing pubs in London for residential schemes. This has involved working closely with various consultants, to ensure that these schemes meet not only the Council’s requirements but the Client’s aspirations.
The Shakespeare in Richmond is one example where permission is being sought for the redevelopment of the site to form 9 residential flats. The façade is to be retained to ensure that the character of the existing building is incorporated into the new development. Our expertise allows full appreciation of the issues involved in securing the required consent.
