Stuart has worked in both the Private and Local Government sectors, gaining considerable experience in various aspects of the planning system. This has ranged from large scale Regeneration Initiatives to Strategic Land Promotion and his key expertise, in Residential Development Control Planning.
Commercially driven, Stuart acts (principally) for our residential clients on the planning issues that are required to be addressed in taking forward their interest in any particular site. This ranges from initial site appraisals and assessments through to application work and project management, negotiating S106 Obligations, and appearing as Expert Witness at Planning Inquiries – seeking to add value through the entire process.
With Stuart’s house building background, he understands the ‘complications’ involved when implementing developments, and his knowledge and experience also cover post application work, ensuring conditions are fully discharged, aiding construction teams.
